We woke up to a cooler day, so we could not start our day, the way we usually do on hot days, by sitting at the pool.
TIP – If you are going to the pool, especially in the warmer summer months, it is a good idea to go first thing in the morning, before the REAL heat hits!
TILV FAVORITE – We decided to go shopping at the Las Vegas North Premium Shopping Outlets. We always find some bargains there. This outlet location is our favorite, but the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets are also a good choice and are closer to the south end of the Strip.

TIP – Make sure to go onto the web site and sign up to the VIP CLUB. Then when you are shopping at the outlets, you just pull up the web site, log into the VIP CLUB, and then you can find all the current coupons and you just need to show them to each store when making purchases. Also make sure to ask the staff at each store if there are any other deals available. On our trip, I asked the Levis clerk, he had me sign up to the Levi club and I received another 20% off!
We tried taking the Downtown Loop Bus, but after waiting 10 minutes, we decided to walk.
It only took us 16 minutes to walk there.
We found some good deals at Under Armor, Levis, Guess, and Jockeys.
TIP – We did take the DOWNTOWN LOOP BUS back to Fremont Street. It picked us up just outside of the Nautica store (see photos in post and stops and route below). The bus should come approximately every 15 to 20 minutes and its FREE! It’s an excellent way to look around the downtown area!
After we dropped off our shopping in the room, we headed back out to Fremont Street and checked out the new CIRCA.
The SPORTS BOOK in the Circa is amazing! A “stadium” of three tiers of screens. If you ever wanted to watch sports on massive clear HD screens with a bunch of sport fans and bet on the action, this is the place! Definitely coming back here to bet on and watch hockey.

We had remaining comps at Binions so we headed back to both have fish and chips at the Binions Cafe. Large portions and the food was good.
We hit the casinos trying to make money cheap a$$ gambling on slots, but no luck!
We ended up at The Downtown Grand, so for our late night snack we headed to our favorite pizza place, PIZZA ROCK! We go to the take out area and get a piece or two. All the pizzas are great.
TILV FAVORITE – If you are a fan of Pizza, you MUST go to PIZZA ROCK (see photos below). They usually re heat the pieces; if you are like me and like it hot and crispy, ask them to heat it back up “well done”
Then we headed off to go to bed.
